The Bird Room – Upper Court Manor House
The Bird Room is in the manor house, a beautiful Georgian house with 15 acres of stunning grounds, including a lake, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. The manor house is home to the Herford family, who inhabit a separate floor, and have been welcoming guests to Upper Court for more than 40 years.
The bedroom is tastefully furnished in English Country House style, with an elegant antique four-poster king sized bed, and unique wallpaper that gives it character, and its name. With comfortable armchairs, a choice of books and teamaking facilities, you can sit and enjoy a quiet moment of peace.
We welcome couples, and solo adventurers. The Bird Room is also suitable for business travellers looking for a country retreat with quick access to the M5, Tewkesbury (4 miles), Worcester (20 miles), Oxford (1 hour) and Birmingham (1 hour).
Please note that, due to the nature of the setting, the Bird Room is not suitable for children aged 2-10. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs in the Manor House. They are, however, welcome in our Coach House 16 and Dovecote cottages, so please do enquire for further information.
Breakfast is available as a booking extra. Please enquire for more information.
